About Lipscomb
Susan is the director of the Health Center, and 2009 marks her 19th year of working at Lipscomb. She graduated from Lipscomb with a BA and went on to attend LaGrange College in Georgia where she received a degree in Nursing in 1979. In addition to her duties at Lipscomb, she has been a member of the American College Health Association for 9 years. Since 2000, she has acquired 45 CEU's in the area of Disordered Eating. She is trained as an instructor for HeartSaver through the American Heart Association.
Melanie is the staff nurse and is in her third year with the Health Center. She received her Bachelors Degree from Lipscomb University in Dietetics. She later attended Middle Tennessee State University where she received her degree in Nursing. Melanie worked six years in Neurological Intensive Care and 12 years in Cardiac Care Unit before coming to Lipscomb. She is a very valuable asset to LUHS. Melanie is also a member of ACHA, and is trained as an instructor for HeartSaver through the American Heart Association.
